History
Together with the sister-company MPC Münchmeyer Petersen Steamship GmbH & Co. KG MPC Marine initiated this project in the first half of 2003 for four 2500 TEU container-vessels with the shipyard Howaldtswerke-Deutsche Werft AG (HDW).

The construction at HDW yard began in November 2003. The deliveries are due between end of 2004 and end of 2005.

Description
MPC Marine has entered into a supply-contract with HDW. MPC Marine's obligation under said contract is to deliver the complete material- and equipment-package to HDW.

MPC Marine further assumes responsibility for site supervision for the buyer of the vessels.

HDW and MPC Marine collaborate closely, especially regarding engineering matters and in order to achieve a smooth process flow.
