History
This project is a co-operation between the Iranian yard ISOICO (Iranian Shipbuilding and Offshore Complex), the German yard NSWE (Nordseewerke Emden) and MPC Marine. Shipbuilding contracts were signed with the national Iranian shipping company (IRISL) for four 2200 TEU container-vessels (plus 2 options).

Description
MPC Marine has entered into a supply- and technical service-contract with ISOICO, with the obligation to deliver the complete material- and equipment-package. According to the contract MPC Marine will also organize and conduct the intense training program for the Iranian engineers at NSWE.

In the first phase the so-called reference vessel was built at NSWE under the supervision of MPC engineers, while at the same time the above mentioned training was conducted. The first vessel was delivered as per contract in June 2004.

During the second phase vessels 2-4 are currently being built at ISOICO shipyard also under MPC Marine supervision. The vessels are due for delivery in 2005 and 2006.
